Job Summary
We are looking for a Receptionist for our Nairobi office. As the first point of contact for our company, you’ll set the tone for our brand through exceptional hospitality and seamless office operations. You’ll bridge our tech-driven culture with human connection, ensuring visitors, employees, and partners experience our innovative spirit from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Excellence: Warmly greet visitors, manage sign-ins, and coordinate meeting room bookings.
Office Coordination: Maintain a tidy, functional workspace; manage mail/shipping logistics (incoming/outgoing packages).
Team Enablement: Support new hire onboarding (desk setups, swag), plan office events.
Communication Hub: Answer and route phone calls; handle general inquiries via email/chat with professionalism.
Culture Catalyst: Foster our vibrant, inclusive atmosphere through thoughtful touches (e.g. welcome notes, celebration prep).
Requirements
2+ years in reception, office coordination, or hospitality (startup/tech environment preferred).
Tech-Adaptive: Proficient with tools like Google Workspace, Zoom, and office hardware (printers, projectors).
Superhuman Soft Skills: Impeccable communication, emotional intelligence, and grace under pressure.
